Dryden, MI – The Paul Mitchell for Congress campaign today announced that he has received the endorsement of the NRA Political Victory Fund due to his staunch support for our right to keep and bear arms. In response Mitchell and Chris Cox, the Executive Director of NRA-ILA released the following statement.
“As a gun owner myself and a life member of the NRA, I am very proud to have earned the endorsement of the NRA Political Victory Fund in my race to become the next member of Congress from Michigan’s 10th District,” said Paul Mitchell. “The Second Amendment to our Constitution says “the Right of the people to keep and bear arms shall not be infringed. That right is under constant threat from opponents of gun rights and must be protected, which is exactly what I will do in Washington. I thank the NRA-PVF or their strong support and look forward to defending the rights of the people of the 10th District in Congress.”
“On behalf of the National Rifle Association’s 5 million members and law-abiding gun owners across the country, we are proud to endorse Paul Mitchell for Congress,” said Chris Cox, President of the NRA-PVF. “Paul supports our Second Amendment freedoms and will stand up to Michael Bloomberg and the anti-gun elites in Washington, D.C. He will be a strong defender of our fundamental right of self-defense.”
Mitchell is the Republican nominee in Michigan’s 10th Congressional District and is running to replace Congresswoman Candice Miller who is retiring at the end of the 114th Congress.
