Dryden, MI – Congressman-Elect Paul Mitchell announced key staff appointments for the 115th Congress for both his Shelby Township (48701 Van Dyke Ave. Shelby Township, MI 48317) and Washington, D.C. offices. These appointments are detailed below:
Washington D.C. Operations:
Kyle Kizzier will lead as Chief of Staff. Kizzier currently serves as Legislative Director for Congressman Mike Bishop (MI-08) and prior served in the same capacity for former Congressman Mike Rogers (MI-08). Previously, he was Vice President of Government Relations at Navigators Global, a government relations and strategic communications firm in Washington, D.C. A native of Michigan and a Michigan State University graduate, Kizzier began his career serving as Staff Assistant for former Congressman Mike Rogers (MI-08), where he later returned to serve as his Legislative Director. Kizzier has also worked in the Office of Congressional Relations at USDA, and as a Michigan field representative for Bush-Cheney ‘04.
Pat Pelletier joins as Legislative Director. Pelletier currently serves as Legislative Director for retiring Education and the Workforce Chairman, Congressman John Kline (MN-02). Pelletier is policy advisor to Congressman Kline on agriculture, budget, financial services, social security, tax, trade, transportation, and workforce issues. A native Midwesterner, Pelletier has served Minnesota’s 2nd district since 2010.
Ann Tumolo will serve as Communications Director. Tumolo joins the team from the Business Roundtable, a Washington D.C. based association of leading U.S. companies, where she assisted in maintaining the organization’s digital media and traditional media outreach. Prior to Business Roundtable, Tumolo served as Press Assistant and Legislative Correspondent for Congressman Keith Rothfus (PA-12) who represents her home district in the north of Pittsburgh.
10th District Operations:
Troy Hudson will serve as District Director. Hudson joins from Grand River Strategies, a public relations and political advocacy firm where he served as the Vice President of Political Affairs. Prior to Grand River Strategies, Hudson served as a campaign aid to Congressman Mike Bishop (MI-08), Congressman Dave Trott (MI-11), Congressman Fred Upton (MI-6), and Attorney General Bill Schuette. Hudson serves on the Michigan Republican Party State Central Committee and is a graduate of Western Michigan University.
Don Brown will serve as Senior Community Outreach Coordinator. Brown previously served as the Deputy District Director for former Congresswoman Candice Miller (MI-10). He also served as the Southeast Michigan Liaison for the Michigan Department of State, and as the Associate Director for Governor John Engler’s southeast Michigan office. Brown also serves as a Macomb County Commissioner.

They each bring unique experiences and are eager to help advance solutions to encourage economic growth, strengthen the U.S. workforce, and secure our nation,” Congressman-Elect Mitchell said.
Mitchell was elected to the 115th Congress to represent the 10th Congressional District of Michigan, which includes Huron, Sanilac, Tuscola, Lapeer, St. Clair, and Macomb counties.
